Do I need experience to visit?
No. First-time shooters come in every day. We’ll walk you through it safely and without the usual awkwardness.
What is the process for purchasing or transferring a firearm?
Do I need a background check?
Yes. All firearm purchases go through the required background check process per Colorado and federal law.
How long does it take to buy a firearm?
There’s a mandatory 3 day “cool off” period in Colorado. Timing depends on current laws and processing—ask us for the latest when you stop in.
What should I buy as a first-time owner?
Depends on your comfort level and purpose. We’ll help you handle different options before you decide—no pressure, no guessing.
Do you price match or run deals?
We stay competitive and run in-store deals you won’t always see online. Best way to know what’s moving? Stop in.
Training & Classes
Do you offer beginner classes?
Yes. Our entry-level classes are designed for people who’ve never touched a firearm. Check: Love at First Gun
Do you offer CCW classes?
Yes. We run Colorado Concealed Carry classes regularly—spots fill up fast.
What will I learn?
Safety, handling, fundamentals, and real-world application—not just theory.
Do I need my own firearm for classes?
No. Rentals are available depending on the class.

Yes—members-only indoor handgun range.
How much is the membership?

Rentals, Tourist & First-Time Experience
Can I rent a firearm?
Yes. Rentals are available and it’s a great way to try different options before buying.
Do you offer a machine gun experience?
Yes. We offer a Full Auto / Machine Gun Experience—perfect for special occasions, groups, or anyone looking for a unique shooting experience in Denver.
I’m visiting from out of town—can I still shoot?
Absolutely. We get a lot of tourists and first-time visitors. Whether you’ve never shot before or just want to try something different, we’ll walk you through it safely.
Can I come alone?
If you’re new, we recommend coming with a friend or booking an experience/class. It makes for a smoother and more enjoyable first visit.
Is this a good place for a first-time shooter?
Yes. That’s a big part of what we do—making first-time shooters feel comfortable, safe, and confident.
Services
Do you clean or service firearms?
Yes. Members get a free annual handgun check-up.
Do you offer gunsmithing?
Basic services such as slide optic cut milling, trigger jobs and custom build are available—ask in-store for specifics.
Do you offer storage service?
Yes, we do. $15 per week for most firearms. Minimum 1 month.
Do you offer FFL to FFL transfer?
We handle both incoming and outgoing firearm transfers, including the required background check. Please see: FFL Transfer
